The ARC Research Hub for Engineering Plants to Replace Fossil Carbon will undertake research to produce novel enzymes capable of digesting plant cell wall material in a more sustainable and economical manner. This theme will also test the function of existing and novel enzymes again existing and new plant varieties to discover the best combination of plant genetics, physiology and process.
